With a focus on quality and attention to the entire process flow, AJAX can apply a wide range of electroplating and surface coating requirements currently specified by industry. Our in-house capability of over 15 million pounds per month includes popular finishes such as; standard zinc, zinc-iron, zinc-nickel, tin-zinc and zinc phosphate coatings, all performed with highly automated work centers and barrel style processing. Barrel style processing captures controlled portions of each customer order, while traveling through major steps of the process flow – degreasing, acid cleaning, and finally, the required surface coating. Material handling is accomplished with minimal operator interaction to aid in the efficient flow of product. A fully A2LA accredited on-site laboratory features equipment such as atomic absorption, a corrosion testing chamber, and x-ray thickness and composition testing, to control both the process and finished products.
